Process and Partnership Approach ...

How We Work

Every engagement starts the same way: a conversation. After that, the path is shaped to your business, your pace, and the model you choose. Here’s what to expect.

The Two Models ...

We work in two ways. The process below applies to both, but the rhythm differs.

One-Time Project: a defined scope, a clear start and end, a handover at the finish. You own everything when we’re done.

Long-Term Partnership: a monthly retainer that turns Motherin into your outsourced digital team. The same care, just continuous, with a steady rhythm of work month after month.

If you’re not sure which fits, we’ll figure that out together on the first call.

Engaging journey, from first call to handover ...

Our Process

Six stages. Each one designed to keep you informed, in control, and educated about what we do, why & how.

A 30-minute call. You describe your business, your goals, and what's getting in the way. We ask questions, share early thinking, and tell you honestly whether we're the right partner. If we're not, we say so. If we are, we move forward.
What you get: A clearer picture of your problem, at least one practical idea, and, if we can help.
After the call, we will go and study your business, your competitors, and your industry. Every proposal includes three options with different scopes, timeframes, and price points. You choose the one that fits.
What you get: A proposal that educates and teaches you about best practices.
When you agree to a proposal, we sign a contract and onboard you into our client portal. This is where files, updates, project progress, and communication live.
What you get: A working space, clear expectations, and a plan we can follow together.
The team gets to work. Each stage includes review rounds and revisions. We explain the thinking behind what we build.
What you get: Progress you can follow, get excited about, while your feedback during revisions is built into the timeline.
When the project is done, we hand it over with full documentation: how to update, what's where, and how to keep things working. You own the work, the accounts.
What you get: Full control, full ownership, and clear instructions on how to manage in-house.
The handover isn't the end. You have the choice to still come back with questions. For one-time projects, that means we're reachable when you need us. For long-term partnerships, this is where the steady rhythm begins: monthly updates, new content, campaign pages, design work, and improvements that match your business as it grows.
What you get: A partner.

Working with Motherin

It always starts the same way: a conversation. We choose to stay small and focused. This allows us to ensure that our clients always feel like a priority.

Your outsourced digital team.

What We Need From You

  • Honest answers in the first call: The clearer the picture, the better the proposal.
  • A point of contact on your side: One person who can review, approve, and gather what’s needed internally.
  • Reasonable response time during review rounds: Delays here delay launch. We’ll flag this if it becomes an issue, kindly.
  • Trust to do our job: We’ll explain decisions, take feedback seriously, and revise when revision is warranted. We’ll also push back when we think something would hurt your business.

Be our partner

What Working With Us Feels Like

  • Meetings stay short: Only productive catch-up.
  • The founder is your point of contact: Always.
  • You’ll learn as we go: We explain the why behind the work. If you’d rather skip that part, just say so.
  • Revisions are part of the process: They’re built into the timeline, and it’s the industry standard.
  • Speed is yours to set: Intense weeks when you need delivery or slower stretches when you need time. We work at your pace.

If you choose the long-term partnership

The Partnership Rhythm

  • A month or two testing period at the start: We learn your pace, your priorities, and your team’s working style.
  • Once the rhythm is clear, work becomes streamlined: Requests, updates, new content, campaign pages, and design work flow through the portal.
  • A standing meeting cadence you choose. Weekly, biweekly, or monthly: Short and useful.
  • Credit-based or scope-based monthly engagement: Either a set monthly capacity to draw from or a defined scope of recurring work. Both bespoke to you.
  • Nothing is forever: The partnership runs because both sides benefit; we don’t want to be trapped by a contract. We can terminate, reevaluate over time until we end our journey together in good termsÂ
